I’m a CPC working in a hospital as a Charge Capture Specialist, supporting Emergency Room, Observation, and Labor & Delivery outpatient facility encounters. I also tutor medical coding, and my goal is to continue growing in the field and eventually teach coding full time.

I created this site because my transition from learning medical coding to getting my first job was harder than I expected. I spent a lot of time searching online for help and guidance, but much of what I found didn’t fully connect classroom learning to what the job actually looks like.

This site is my way of sharing what I’ve learned along the way. It’s meant to be a practical, supportive space for coders who are trying to bridge that same gap and feel more confident as they move into the field.
