As a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Charge Capture Specialist for ED and OBV, and Medical Coding Tutor for Herzing University and Auburn University, I’ve seen firsthand how many coders feel overwhelmed, under-supported, and unsure of themselves — especially when transitioning into ER or observation coding.
Passing the exam is one thing.
Applying it confidently is another.
